Download important classic books free. There are many websites that maintain files of literary masterpieces and important documents.Scaramouche presents a list of over 50 sources of important literature. They are in the public domain, so you don't have to worry about copyright.

    *Read them for autodidact projects.
    *Use them as the subject for discussion groups.
    *Use them as textbooks for courses you are taking.

(Your teacher may require a particular publication or edition, but the downloaded version may contain valuable annotation. So take the electronic version as a supplement to the required hardcopy.)
